This basketball is signed by two of the most prominent people in Pitt basketball history.
Jamie Dixon is the winningest coach in Pitt Panthers basketball history and Dick Groat, who was the Panthers color commentator on the radio for over 40 years, is a member of the college basketball Hall of Fame, was a two-time World Series champion and the 1960 National League most valuable player.
The top autograph is Jamie Dixon and the words above it read “Hail to Pitt”
The Dick Groat signature is below the Jamie Dixon signature and has his Hall of Fame year for his induction into the college basketball Hall of Fame (2007).
The basketball is a Wilson Performance composite basketball with the NCAA logo on it. The back of the basketball has a small mark of where which can be seen in the photo.
