Two Dawn Dolls Plus Extras. Condition is "Used".
On this auction we have two six and a half inch Dawn dolls in original clothing.
Their hair is glossy and smooth with no tangles. They are both wearing their authentic Dawn clothing and shoes. A brochure of fashions came with them originally and is included in the box, along with a red plastic portfolio. It says "Noreen Dawn Model Agency."
There are two hangers, but I am not sure that they are theirs. There is a mannequin or dress form, which has a darling dress on it, but unfortunately, the bottom of the dress form is broken off and I don't have the missing piece. I can however, think of several different ways that this could be mended so it will stand again.
The little brochure has been taped. The cellophane tape has yellowed, but the pictures in it are still beautiful.
The dolls are in a small box with a little hand-sewn mattress on one side that I assume the original little owner decided could be used for their bed.
They both have on little white panties. I would say that these dolls are in excellent condition for their age. I do not find any flaws on the dolls at all. If anything, I would say that the only thing that makes them less than perfect is that each of them has one leg that is not as tightly in the socket as the other. They are not falling down loose, but when I move the legs, definitely one is looser than the other on each doll. Their fingers are all undamaged and the hair is simply beautiful.
Someone must have loved these two girls very much to keep them in such nice condition.
