    Description

Vintage Bear Archery Super Kodiak from 1968 or 1969.  RH, 48#, 60", Serial # 9Z2720.
Micarta and Rosewood riser with a fantastic glossy finish still. Gold coin intact. Factory integrated hunting sight with 3 adjustable circular pins in DayGlo orange.  Brush rest and adjustable nylon button, which are also probably factory.
Weight\serial\length inscription still good and glossy.
Limbs are straight and tips are good. No twists. Moderate horizontal finish crazing after the fadeouts more on backing than face - of course. Single vertical crack on face coming up from sight window, that can be felt with your fingernail but not fingerpad.
If you googled "best bow on ebay today" it might just be this one.  It has history for over 50 years.  It has artistic beauty not just from the classic shape but also from the mix of micarta and rosewood.  And the factory sight DayGlo pins draw the eye and bring out the dark Micarta.  Everyone will ask you about this bow.
Functional. Heavy enought to knock down most North America big game (maybe not polar bears or artic ox). Light enough for a day at the range.  And not super heavy in the hand like some of the other late 1960's big wood risers.
Has a nice string and nock set.  I'm gonna put a tip protector on it now.
I still have many bows to sell, but thought I would get this one out there for all to see. Starting at a high price, so maybe I'll get to look at this on the bow rack for a little longer.
