    Description

Up for bids is a vintage Bear Tigercat recurve bow with a camouflage finish that is in fair to good cosmetic condition. The bow is for a right handed archer and is marked "7N897 - 62" 36#" in the grip area. The Bear medallion is silver colored. Included is the string shown...the string looks to be in good condition. The bow was made in Grayling, Michigan. Please view the 18 photographs carefully to determine exactly what you will receive. Issues: 1.) The bow shows some loss of camo finish along some areas of the side edges. There is some old tape residue on the limbs. 2.) I have not shot the bow but have strung it and see no issues...no cracks, no delamination, no stress lines in the fiberglass. 3.) The limbs appear to have about a 1/8" twist. I placed the bow with the flat sides of the limbs touching on a flat countertop surface and got a very small wiggle/wobble when pressing down on one limb and attempting to get the opposite limb to wiggle with my opposite hand. 4.) One tip shows more wear than the other. See the photos of both sides of each tip to determine condition. 5.) Please understand that I don't warranty the bow as a shooter. I do warranty it to be as described above. I can see no reason why it can't be a great shooter bow however it is 50 to 60 years old...or more. This is an estate sale find and so I have no knowledge as to how is was stored over those years and as a result have no clue as to how it will hold up to repeated shooting. Note that I have given three shipping options for US shipping. Click on the above shipping tab to compare rates and delivery times. Because the length of the package is approximately 62 inches long the only country, besides the U.S., I can ship to fairly inexpensively is Canada. Some overseas countries I may not even be able to ship to because of the length of the package. Many other foreign countries could cost well over 0.00 to ship...again because of the size of the package using UPS or USPS. If you live in a foreign country, other then Canada, please feel free to contact me for a shipping estimate if you have a serious interest.
